Global Turbine Services to attend the Aero Engines Americas 2025 Conference.
Global Turbine Services (GTS), a leading aircraft engine and component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company, announced today that it will attend the Aero Engines Americas 2025 Conference in Fort Worth, TX from January 27 to the 29, 2025.

Global Turbine Services Expands Capabilities with FAA Approval for CF6 Engine Overhaul and Repair.
Global Turbine Services (GTS), a distinguished ISO 9001-2015, AS9100, AS9110 Registered, and fully certified FAA/EASA/NATO/USAF MRO Part 145 aircraft engine & components maintenance and repair facility, is proud to announce that it has received approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to perform engine overhaul, maintenance, repairs, alterations and field service on the CF6-50/F103 all series and CF6-80/F138 all series engines.
This latest approval from the FAA further expands GTS's extensive capabilities, solidifying its position as a leading provider of comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for a wide range of aircraft engines and components. With this new authorization, GTS can now offer its customers even more comprehensive solutions for their CF6 engine needs, ensuring their aircraft remain airworthy and operational.

Global Turbine Services Names Luis Martin as Director of Engines & Components Repairs.
Global Turbine Services (GTS), a leading aircraft engine and components repair and overhaul company, today announced that Luis Martin has been promoted to Director of Engines & Components Repairs. In this role, Martin will oversee GTS’ engine and components repair operations across its locations.
Martin has been with GTS for many years, most recently serving as Lead Inspector. In that role, he demonstrated outstanding leadership and technical skills, as well as a passion for excellence, safety and quality.
“Luis has been instrumental to the success of our engine and components repair business, and this promotion is well deserved,” said Jack Tannir, CEO of GTS. “His deep technical experience, focus on quality and proven track record of leadership make him ideally suited to drive continued growth and innovation in this important part of our business.”
Martin has over 24 years of experience in aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO).

Global Turbine Services Expands Engine Inventory to Meet Growing Demand.
Global Turbine Services (GTS), a leading aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company, today announced the addition of three CFM56-3 engines to their extensive inventory of aircraft engines and components. The CFM56-3 engines are now available for outright purchase or exchange to meet customers’ needs.
“We are seeing strong demand for CFM56-3 engines from our customers who operate Boeing 737 Classic family of aircraft,” said Randy Harker, S.V.P Marketing & Sales of GTS. “By expanding our engine inventory, we can provide operators greater flexibility and faster access to engines and components to minimize aircraft downtime.”
The three CFM56-3 engines added to GTS’s inventory are fully operational and some immediately available. As a full-service MRO, GTS can also handle logistics, transportation and storage of engines for customers.
GTS has over 15 years of experience providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services to commercial airlines, cargo operators, leasing companies and military forces around the world. In addition to CFM56 and CF6 engines, GTS is an authorized MRO center for Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and International Aero Engines V2500 engines.

GTS specializes in CFM56 engine module repair and overhaul, offering 24/7 AOG support and the fastest turnaround times with its strategically located repair stations and mobile repair teams positioned around the globe.

Under this contract, GTS will deliver comprehensive MRO services for the TF33-P100 engines and components powering NATO's E-3 Sentry (AWACS) aircraft fleet.
